    I've recently just signed up to Twitter, really just to see what all the hype was about.

    I have to say - I don't really get it. I'm no stranger to online social networking, but from what I can see Twitter is just a shitload of status updates and nothing else?

    Please correct me if I am wrong, and tell me if I am missing some fantastic point.

    Do any of you folks use twitter?

    I don't use it. More or less coz my life ain't all that interesting for the public. Yes, it's only about writing statuses, especially if you're a celebrity and you want to let your fans know what you're up to.
