Colour has this way of affecting moods. It probably has this scientific throwback to ancient evolution and bad-poison colours and what not. So maybe, when you visit websites on the internet, almost all of them are using BLUE as their main colours! Blue seems to be a really mood-soothing colour. Almost every forum system uses blue as it's default style colour also! Blue is everywhere!
Blue might be a nice colour, but it IS good to get variety now and then. What colours do YOU prefer on web pages? Do you like light backgrounds or dark ones? What's the main accent colour you use most often? What colours just seem to put you in a bad, bad mood if you stare at them for too long?

yes I agree blue or blue-grey is easy on the eye
My own personal preference is grey or cream for text boxes etc
I've had a dark skin on my forums and whilst it's quite appealing in some respects, I find it's difficult to pick a good colour match for typing in or seeing content
