Saw highlights of Germany vs France and Rudiger's boot across Pavard's neck looked quite naughty. I thought he could have pulled his leg away. Left Pavard with a nasty mark.

Areola looked like he had an impressive game.

Saw the highlights as well, injury looked worse as the game went on. Rudiger should get done for that. Could have been a whole lot worse.

Must say I'm enjoying the Nations League overall. Much more interesting watching internationals with evenly matched sides, and who are eager to get the win.

It got a lot of negative publicity and hate when first announced. It’s cutting out more of those boring friendlies and matching up teams who are ranked closely in mini-leagues which will produce some very good games.

So nice to be finally able to say "Oh great, an International break" and not mean it sarcastically!

Football for 6 days straight with potentially great fixtures on every one of them

I'm enjoying this new format. It's a great change. No more friendlies involving Spain v Andorra, England v San Marino, France v Malta etc. Competitive games from top to bottom between teams near each other in the rankings.....all for a chance to qualify.

Best thing they've done in years.

I prefer the Nations League format too. The game the other night between Poland and Portugal was very enjoyable and played at an intensity you just wouldn't get with a friendly match. I think the games are far more competitive now and it's nice to not get to the hour mark and see about 7 subs come on.
